These modesl in the Yamaha Arius series offer excellent musical performance at entry level price points
There are 88 notes – a full size piano keyboard – with ‘weighted’ action designed to provide the ‘feel’ and ‘touch’ of the traditional piano.
There are 2 piano voices – bright and mellow – plus electric piano, harpsichord, organ and strings.
An in-built metronome helps you keep time whilst the in-built recorder enables you to record an entire song. The YDP-141 even allows you to record left hand and right hand independantly!
Sockets for two pairs of headphones (headphones not included in price) enable you to practice without disturbing others.
These models never need tuning and are more compact and easier to move than a traditional piano.This open up the possibility of having your digital piano in an upstairs room.
In our view the Yamaha Arius YDP-135 or YDP-141 would be an ideal choice for someone starting out and are infinately preferable to buying an ‘old banger’ type piano which will never stay in tune and will suffer from sticking keys!
The YDP-135 is available in dark rosewood finish and the YDP-141 is available in light cherry or dark rosewood finishes.
