The owner, who is a fine musician, explored the idea of buying a new or reconditioned piano but, after considerable thought, decided to go ahead and entrust us with the full internal restoration of his beloved Broadwood.
The work consisted of a full action overhaul, re-stringing, new hammers, dampers etc. Sadly the original ivory keys were beyond repair and the were therefore replaced.
David then concentrated upon regulating and voicing at which point the true glory of the piano came to life.
One of our happiest moments was to see the look of joy fom the owner, when he sat down to play!
